God's Second Coming According to the Bible Scriptures

God's Second Coming According to the Bible

                                     Scriptures:

The Second Coming - What is it?

The Second Coming is when Jesus Christ will return to earth in fulfillment of His promises and to fulfill the prophecies made about Him. Jesus Himself promised, "At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory" (Matthew 24:30). Revelation 19:11-12 proclaims this about the Second Coming, "I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself."

The Second Coming - Why is it important?

Foremost of all, belief in the Second Coming of Christ is important because it is clearly what the Bible teaches. To doubt the reality of the Second Coming is to doubt the reliability and validity of God's Word. Second, the Second Coming is important because Jesus Himself promised it. If Jesus was wrong about the Second Coming, how can we trust anything else He taught? The Second Coming of Christ is our hope and confidence that God is in control of all things and is faithful to His Word and His promises. Titus 2:13"…while we wait for the blessed hope - the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ."

The Second Coming is also important because it will come at the time when the world is most in need of a righteous King. Revelation chapters 6-18 describe the end times prior to the Second Coming of Christ. The world will be devastated, millions of people will perish, and the most evil person in all history will be ruler of the entire world. The Second Coming of Christ puts all this to an end.Revelation 19:15-16 says, "Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. 'He will rule them with an iron scepter.' He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS."

The Second Coming - When is it?

Many Bible teachers have made guesses as to when the Rapture and Second Coming will occur. They have all been incorrect. The Bible declares, "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father" (Matthew 24:36). The Bible describes several events which must occur before the Second Coming (Matthew 24:4-292 Thessalonians 2:1-12Revelation chapters 6-18). So, we are to anticipate the Second Coming, but have a biblical understanding of it. We are not to set dates and times, but live our lives as if it could happen any day, any moment. Matthew 25:19-21"After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them…His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'"

As to what is written above, God gave signs for us to know whether the time is near, and it can be found in

Matthew 24:4-29:

SIGNS OF THE CLOSE OF THE AGE

4 And Jesus answered and said to them: e "Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 "For f many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' g and will deceive many. 6 "And you will hear of h wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for 1 all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 "For i nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be jfamines, 2 pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 "All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 k "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. 10 "And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11"Then l many false prophets will rise up and m deceive many. 12 "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow n cold. 13 o"But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 "And this p gospel of the kingdom q will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
-If you would observe the day-to-day phenomenon, you would notice events that has never happened before. Recently a news about the persecution of Christians, full link here:http://erlc.com/issues/quick-facts/persecution/ , and another :  Faith turns Christians into terrorist targets, full link here: http://edition.cnn.com/2015/04/24/world/terrorists-attacks-on-christianity/ , and another one: ISIS Radical Islamic Terrorists Target Christians in Iraq, full link here: http://www.redstate.com/diary/matthewclark/2014/06/19/isis-radical-islamic-terrorists-target-christians-iraq/ , clearly this happenings have made true to the words of God when he answered "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. 10 "And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. "
"For i nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. "- This statement made true of the issue about the Philippines and China.
"And there will be jfamines, 2 pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 " - As of 2015, there are approximately 46 times that earthquake happened around the world, which is not a usual scenario in the past.

"Then l many false prophets will rise up and m deceive many. 12 "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow n cold. " - And as of now, people who claim that they are god are evident anywhere, may it be in media, in streets or wherever you go.

I posted this blog not to scare those of you who have read this, but to tell to all of you to go and repent for your sins. Just spare even a second of your time to repent and pray to Him, that second won't be a waste if that means entering His kingdom in heaven. Our God is a forgiving God, no matter how big your sin is , as long as you ask for forgiveness, He will forgive you. He loves us and He wants nothing but our salvation. Go and repent now!
Amen.
